Job Responsibilities:
Construction Estimation:
Prepare accurate and detailed construction estimates, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
Review plans, specifications, and bid packages to ensure accurate pricing.
Construction Project Management:
Assist with scheduling, project timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
Construction Administration:
Manage RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
Maintain organized project files, including permits, drawings, and contracts.
Bookkeeping Support:
Assist with basic construction bookkeeping tasks, including tracking project costs, processing invoices, and preparing payment applications.
Contracts Management:
Prepare, review, and track contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in construction estimation, project management, or construction administration.
Proven ability to handle RFIs, submittals, and project documentation effectively.
Strong understanding of U.S. construction industry standards and practices.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Familiarity with project management and estimating software such as Procore, Buildertrend, PlanGrid, or similar tools.
Basic understanding of construction bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with contract negotiation and preparation.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations in the United States.
