Construction Estimator

We are looking for a Construction Estimator to join our team specializing in residential low-to-mid-rise buildings.

Your main task:

Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential low to mid-rise construction projects, ensuring the accuracy in quantity of the materials and scope of work based on RSmeans

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing comprehensive take-off with Planswift https://www.planswift.com
Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for all stages of construction projects (conceptual, schematic, and detailed) based on RSmeans https://www.rsmeans.com/ and real contractor price
Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine material and labour costs.
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather required project information.
Researching and sourcing the most cost-effective materials and subcontractors.
Identifying potential risks and preparing contingency cost estimates.
Maintaining and updating a database of costs and pricing structures.
Preparing reports and presenting estimates to project stakeholders.
This position is suitable for you if:

You have experience estimating residential low-to-mid-rise buildings.
You are proficient in construction estimation software, such as Planswift, RSmeans, and Excel.
-You have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
-You understand construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
-You can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
-You are a strong communicator and can collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
-You are full of energy, but at the same time, you are detail-oriented, able to focus, and will start a cover letter with the phrase: "The right decision."
-Please prepare up to 5-minute video about yourself and your skills demonstration proficiency in the mentioned above software
-Please prepare a real estimate in Planswift for the attached project.
