Core Expectations:
-Oversee each stage of the construction lifecycle from start to finish.
-Secure necessary regulatory information and permits.
-Coordinate purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment.
-Ensure projects align with overall strategy and criteria.
-Manage subcontractors and construction workers to guarantee quality work.
-Establish and follow a budget, schedule, and quality control plan.
-Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, electricians, and other specialists, providing regular updates on project progress.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and safety precautions.
-Utilize scheduling software for schedule updates, progress tracking, and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Proficient in using construction project management software.
-Ability to establish robust relationships with contractors and construction workers.
-Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
-Bachelor’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, and architecture. (licensed architect preferred)
-OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Training.
-Construction Project Management certification.
-Minimum of 2 years of practical construction experience.
