The Community Manager is responsible for building, engaging, and nurturing a dynamic online community across various social media platforms. As the voice of the brand, the Community Manager will create but not limited to compelling content, respond to community inquiries, monitor social conversations, and cultivate an environment that encourages brand loyalty and advocacy.

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends and community engagement best practices. They should possess strong communication skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to adapt content for different social channels. The Community Manager will work closely with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader brand goals and initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in a communication, community management or customer service.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with color cosmetic CPG brands in retail
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- General knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and web metrics.
- Proficiency in word processing applications, spreadsheets, presentation software, and social media management tools.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute social media strategies to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster a positive community environment across various platforms.
• Content Creation: Craft compelling and relevant content for social media posts, including text, images, videos, and stories, tailored to resonate with the target audience and promote brand values.
• Community Engagement: Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner. Encourage discussions, answer questions, and address concerns to enhance community satisfaction.
• Sentiment Analysis: Evaluate the overall sentiment of community interactions by analyzing feedback, comments, and mentions. Identify positive, neutral, and negative sentiment trends to assess the community’s perception of the brand and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Monitor Social Media Channels: Track and analyze social media performance metrics and trends to gauge the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns. Adjust tactics based on insights to improve engagement and reach.
• Build Relationships: Establish and maintain new and exisiting relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and key community members to leverage their networks and amplify brand reach.
• Monitor Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, social media developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for engagement and innovation.
• Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to support social media campaigns, promotions, and events. Ensure that all social media efforts align with overall marketing goals.
• Feedback and Reporting: Gather and analyze feedback from the community to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving brand strategies. Prepare regular reports on social media performance and community growth.
• Crisis Management: Address and manage potential social media crises or negative interactions professionally and promptly, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
