JOB OVERVIEW

We are a tech news publisher seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to support our Editorial Team. In this role, you will ensure that key operational tasks within the editorial team are completed efficiently daily.

You will be crucial in managing editorial workflows, assisting with news writing and supporting day-to-day operations.

Your role will also include social media engagement, image manipulation and managing our Newsdesk system (allocating and approving emails, handling duplicates, marking spam, monitoring competitors etc.).

This position requires:
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- A proactive and dependable work ethic
- Exceptional organisational abilities

As more automation is implemented into our news operations, we hope this person can step up to more human-facing responsibilities. Including attending industry events, interviewing clients over Zoom and recording videos for our social accounts.

So, an important part of finding the best candidate is your on-camera performance.
