Collections Agent

Credit4You is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections department, you will be responsible for engaging with borrowers to arrange timely payments and maintain clear communication regarding outstanding balances. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from home while directly contributing to our goal of helping clients manage their obligations responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Initiate contact with borrowers through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to collect overdue payments.
- Develop and negotiate payment arrangements that align with company guidelines and meet borrowers' unique financial situations.
-Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, follow up consistently, and document all interactions accurately.
-Maintain professionalism and empathy while handling difficult conversations with borrowers.
-Utilize CRM software to manage account details, track payment status, and record collection activities.
-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to refine collection strategies and improve recovery rates.

Requirements:

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, customer service, or a related role (experience in finance or lending is a plus).
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
-Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
-Proficient in CRM software and comfortable using technology to manage data and track activities.
-Reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and the necessary equipment (computer, webcam and headset) for phone-based work.
-Flexibility to work during Eastern Time (EST) hours.
