Cold Email Assistant (Inbox Management + Lead Re-engagement)

About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cold Email Assistant to help manage our outbound campaigns and re-engage warm leads across cold email and potentially SMS.

This is a critical support role designed to keep our inboxes clean, our leads followed up with, and our campaigns running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our lead generation team to ensure no lead slips through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

? Inbox Management

Monitor multiple cold email inboxes daily (using tools like Smartlead or Instantly)

Categorize incoming replies (Interested, Not Interested, Out of Office, etc.)

Flag leads that require manual follow-up or booking

Remove bad leads and bouncebacks to keep sending domains healthy

? Lead Re-Engagement & Follow-Up

Send manual cold email follow-ups to warm or quiet leads

Craft short re-engagement messages or use templates provided

Maintain a consistent tone and follow timing guidelines

? SMS Follow-Up (Optional / Bonus)

Use tools like Twilio or Kixie (if enabled) to re-engage leads via SMS

Log SMS responses and status updates in CRM or tracker

? Lead Tracking & Reporting

Update lead statuses in Google Sheets, Airtable, or CRM

Share daily updates on engagement progress and outcomes

Coordinate with team if a lead needs to be booked or escalated

REQUIREMENTS
Strong written communication (clear, concise, and typo-free)

Organized and dependable with excellent attention to detail

Experience with cold email tools (Smartlead, Instantly, Mailreach, etc.) Desired***

Familiarity with Google Sheets, CRMs, and inbox management tools

Bonus: Familiarity with SMS platforms like Twilio or Kixie

Ability to work 8 hours a day Mon - Fri during US working hours

Nice to Have
Prior experience in outbound lead generation

Knowledge of B2B sales or appointment setting

Comfort handling 10+ inboxes and managing lead follow-up at scale

Willingness to grow into a larger role (copywriting, campaign strategy, etc.)
