The Role
As a Cold Caller – M&A Business Development, you will be the first point of contact with business owners. Your goal is to generate leads, build rapport, and schedule conversations for our acquisition team to explore potential deals. This is a remote, commission-based opportunity offering uncapped earning potential for driven individuals.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to business owners in targeted industries.
Build trust and rapport with business owners, explaining our interest in acquiring their business.
Identify potential acquisition opportunities based on predefined criteria.
Schedule appointments or introductory meetings for the acquisitions team.
Maintain accurate records of calls, responses, and follow-ups in our CRM system.
Collaborate with the acquisitions team to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
Requirements
Proven experience in cold calling, sales, or business development (M&A experience is a plus).
Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
Confidence in discussing financial and operational aspects of businesses with owners.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of handling rejection with resilience.
Basic understanding of business operations and M&A is preferred but not required.
