Responsibilities: Conduct thorough reviews of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve documentation practices. Identify and clarify missing, unclear, or conflicting documentation. Educate healthcare providers on best practices for clinical documentation. Utilize data to identify trends and areas for improvement in clinical documentation. Support the development and implementation of CDI programs and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field. Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement, coding, or a related field. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
