We are a family-oriented bookkeeping firm located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We work with cool and creative clients that we provide bookkeeping services for. Clients and their accountants depend on us to make sure they can rely on their books. We work remotely in the cloud with QuickBooks Online, 3rd Party Apps and integrations. Because we do a great job, we’re growing and are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Client Onboarding and Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. You will assist our management team with onboarding clients, bookkeeping setup and cleanup, tax reconciliations, software integrations, and process management.

This remote position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in bookkeeping practices and principles, strong analytical and organizational skills, and capable of identifying and resolving bookkeeping-related issues. Full training in our technologies, team processes & orientation to clients will be provided to the successful candidate.

Qualifications:
• You are conscientious and love to learn.
• You can communicate well in both verbal and written English.
• You have experience in onboarding new clients and setting up their accounts.
• Proven experience in reviewing and cleaning up bookkeeping records.
• CPA Level or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and procedures.
• Experience in setting up and integrating bookkeeping software.
• Experience with QuickBooks and with Apps such as Hubdoc, QB Time (T-Sheets), Dext, RBC PayEdge, Plooto, Shopify or Expensify.
• You have a strong internet connection and can work independently and collaborate with the team through Zoom, email and Slack messaging
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
