Position Title: Insurance Claims Liaison - Virtual Assistant (VA)
Location: Remote
Reports To: Claims Manager / Operations Manager
Position Summary:
The Insurance Claims Liaison (VA) is responsible for supporting the claims process by acting as a communication link between the insurance company, claimants, and other relevant parties. This virtual role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage claims documentation, provide updates, and assist with claims inquiries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants, clients, and insurance adjusters regarding claim status and information.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between insurance carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure the timely processing of claims.
• Assist with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims, including correspondence, documentation, and claim status updates.
• Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on the progress of claims.
• Gather necessary documentation from claimants and other parties to support claims processing.
• Handle client inquiries related to claims, policy coverage, and procedures.
• Monitor claim deadlines and ensure all tasks are completed within the required timeframes.
• Assist in resolving claim-related issues, escalating complex cases to senior claims adjusters or managers when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with insurance policy terms, coverage, and changes in claims processes.
Job Requirements:
40 Hours Per Week
Pay will be sent through TransferWise on a bi-weekly basis
Job Hours are Monday through Friday - 9:00AM-5:00PM EST US
Paid Time Off:
4 Days off, in the first year of employment. Resets every Jan 1st.
