Job Title: Cinematic Podcast Editor

Job Type: Full-time (M-F, 9 am–5 pm CST)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled podcast editor to produce engaging, high-quality visual content that stands out on Youtube. The editor will be responsible for editing two full-length podcast episodes per week and creating six social media reels designed for optimal engagement. Each podcast episode must include a compelling hook to attract and retain listeners (2 per week).

Responsibilities:
Edit and produce two podcast episodes weekly, ensuring professional audio quality and seamless flow.
Most of our podcasts require very little cutting and editing because the file is pre-edited, audio enhancements and multiple exports are needed though.
Craft 2 engaging intros/hooks for each podcast episode to capture audience attention.
Produce six social media reels weekly (3 per show) optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube
Collaborate with hosts and production team to align edits with the podcasts' themes and tone.
Ensure content adheres to deadlines within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm)
We are open to you working more if need be.
Manage audio levels, background noise reduction, and overall sound design.
Maintain organized project files and asset management for streamlined workflow.
Communicate effectively with the team around tight deadlines for accurate project management

Requirements:
Proven experience editing podcasts and creating social media reels.
Proven experience creating hooks and engaging stories from long form content
Excellence in Adobe Premiere Pro (Senior Editor Level)
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently during specified business hours.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.

Organized, responsive, and proactive approach to tasks and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with current social media trends and content optimization techniques.
Excellence in after effects for graphic needs in hook
Ability to select social clips and soundbites on your own long term

Compensation: $1,000 per month or more depending on experience

Location: Remote
