Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the editing process for chess videos from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are executed with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.
-Utilize advanced editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and create visually stunning chess content.
-Manage multiple chess-related video projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
-Keep up with the latest trends in video editing and chess content creation, incorporating new techniques and technologies to continually elevate the quality of the videos.
-Collaborate closely with the team to oversee color correction, audio mixing, and final mastering of chess videos for distribution across various platforms.
Requirements:
-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
-Strong creativity and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the context of chess content.
-Excellent communication skills with a strong responsiveness to team interactions and feedback (VERY IMPORTANT!).
-Willingness to improve and listen to feedback (VERY IMPORTANT!).
-Ability to handle short and long form videos and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
-A solid understanding of chess principles and strategies is highly preferred.
Interested applicants should submit a portfolio that highlights their most complex video edits, preferably with chess content. Please also include your chess rating in your application. Lastly, be prepared to complete a sample test edit focusing on a chess-related topic as part of the selection process.
