Position Overview:
LawVisory PLLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. In this critical role, you will assume responsibility for overseeing the firm's internal accounting and financial operations, effectively replacing the current accounting team. This includes managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the firm's growth and operational efficiency.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing financial statements, conducting regular audits, and taking charge of accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing. It is imperative that you establish effective communication and processes to meet deadlines and maintain positive relationships with creditors.

While experience or familiarity with RIA compliance is preferred, the position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of legal and financial professionals in a consultancy environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively across various levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
Lead the firm's internal accounting function, overseeing all aspects of financial operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial record management.
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming finances and disbursements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, maintaining transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and financial stability.
Provide strategic financial guidance to support the firm's growth and operational efficiency, collaborating closely with leadership to optimize financial decision-making.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy of financial performance.
Collaborate effectively with legal and compliance teams to align financial practices with regulatory standards and organizational goals, fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence.


Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or compliance within the financial services industry, preferably with RIAs.
Strong understanding of SEC regulations applicable to RIAs, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related rules and interpretations.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Compensation:
Negotiable and based on experience and qualifications.
