The Stover Group (STG) is a leading insurance agency dedicated to helping families secure their futures with innovative life insurance solutions. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our call center team as Openers. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact, delivering a short, compelling pitch to pique a prospect’s interest in our product offering and overcome any immediate objections. Once the customer is interested, you’ll seamlessly live-transfer them to our licensed insurance agents, who will complete the qualification and closing process.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling: Use our dialer system (e.g., Kixie) to call prospects who have shown some level of interest in our insurance products or services.
Engagement & Pitch Delivery: Deliver a concise but compelling pitch to quickly capture the prospect’s attention and build initial interest.
Objection Handling: Address common objections or questions efficiently, ensuring a positive interaction.
Live Transfers: Once a prospect expresses genuine interest, warm-transfer them to our licensed insurance agents who will qualify and finalize the sale.
CRM Updates: Document call outcomes and note any relevant details in our CRM for smooth handoff to the agent.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous phone sales, telemarketing, or call center experience is highly preferred. If you’re great at engaging people quickly and overcoming objections, we want to hear from you.
Communication Skills: Confident, clear, and friendly phone presence. Must be able to think on your feet and quickly adapt your pitch.
Objection Handling: Proven ability to handle common objections and maintain a positive conversation flow.
Reliability & Drive: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and self-motivation are essential in a remote environment.
Technology: Comfortable using dialer software and CRM tools. Familiarity with Kixie is a plus, but not required.
