Role Overview
We are seeking a CAD Specialist to review and adjust CAD drawings, ensure design compliance, and manage parts ordering. This position will initially be part-time (20 hours/week) with the potential to transition to full-time. A flexible schedule is available, and compensation ranges from $7 to $9 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Review and adjust CAD drawings from designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications (e.g., shelf width limits).
Generate cut lists and coordinate parts ordering from suppliers.
Communicate effectively with designers and management regarding drawing issues.
Participate in morning check-ins to discuss questions and review completed work.
Potentially assist with additional tasks, including social media management, data entry, and spreadsheet work.


Desired Skills and Experience:
Detail-oriented with a thorough approach to work.
Familiarity with CAD software (KCD or similar) is preferred but not required.
Good English communication skills.
Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
Ability to think critically and anticipate needs.
Background in interior design, architecture, or engineering is a plus but not mandatory.

Process and Software
Our company uses proprietary CAD software, which will be provided on USB keys shipped internationally.
Drawings will be shared at the end of the US workday and should be reviewed overnight.
Access to Google Hangouts/Zoom for screen sharing and plan reviews, with Slack for communication and file sharing.
