## About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming initial sketches into detailed 3D construction drawings and comprehensive assembly instructions.

## Key Responsibilities
- Convert preliminary sketches and concepts into fully detailed 3D models using SolidWorks
- Develop complete construction drawings with proper dimensioning and tolerances
- Create clear and detailed assembly/mounting instructions for manufacturing purposes
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications
- Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability

## Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with SolidWorks software
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling and technical drawing principles
- Ability to interpret and develop sketches into detailed technical drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly methods
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members

## Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related field
- Experience with creating manufacturing and assembly documentation
- Knowledge of additional CAD software platforms
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
