JOB OVERVIEW

A Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by actively soliciting and managing relationships with corporate clients, focusing on selling travel packages including flights, hotels, and car rentals to meet their business travel needs, while achieving sales targets within a designated territory and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities may include:

Client Acquisition and Development:
Identify and prospect potential corporate clients within assigned territory.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at corporate accounts.
Conduct sales presentations and proposals to showcase travel solutions that align with client needs.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure business.

Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities within the corporate travel sector.
Track sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed.
Participate in industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.

Account Management:
Understand client travel patterns and needs to provide customized solutions.
Manage existing client accounts, proactively addressing their travel requirements and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Monitor client spending and identify opportunities to increase travel volume.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams like operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless client experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the business travel industry.
Strong understanding of corporate travel needs and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively pitch travel solutions.

Relationship building and customer service expertise.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads and track sales performance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
