Our services include staffing, talent acquisition, and consulting services to help our clients tackle their most pressing challenges in energy infrastructure, sustainability, and operational efficiency. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive growth by generating new business opportunities through targeted cold outreach and strategic lead generation.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the key driver of our new business acquisition strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new leads, expand our client base, and convert prospects into long-term relationships through proactive cold outreach efforts. You will be working closely with senior leadership to align your sales strategy with our company goals and identify opportunities in the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach: Conduct cold outreach to potential clients in the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors through calls,
Prospecting & Qualification: Identify and qualify prospective clients through research, data analysis, and strategic targeting. Assess client needs and understand their specific challenges to offer tailored staffing and consulting solutions.
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement an effective cold outreach strategy with a focus on new lead generation, pipeline development, and client acquisition.
Client Relationship Development: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the target market. Create opportunities for follow-up meetings and presentations to discuss our services in greater detail.
Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive trends within the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors to ensure relevant outreach.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with the recruiting, operations, and delivery teams to ensure client needs are accurately addressed and service delivery exceeds expectations.
Negotiation & Closing: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Ensure the alignment of client needs with the solutions provided and close deals that benefit both parties.
Reporting & Metrics: Maintain accurate records of all cold outreach activities, client communications, and sales pipeline progress. Provide regular updates to leadership on lead generation results and business development efforts.
Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a focus on cold outreach and lead generation.
Previous experience in the Power, Energy, or Utilities industries is highly preferred.
Proven track record of success in cold calling, cold
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and sales tracking tools.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level decision-makers.

Ability to understand complex client needs and craft effective solutions.
Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with a focus on driving results.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional training or certifications in sales, energy, or business development is a plus.
