JOB OVERVIEW

DefineMe is a boutique creative studio that helps small businesses and bold entrepreneurs transform their presence through clear messaging, elevated design, and strategic brand identity.

We’re not just looking for a designer—we’re looking for someone who can think like a strategist and create like a high-level brand partner. Someone who understands that good design and copy aren’t about looking pretty—they’re about intent, clarity, and conversion.

This is a long-term role with real growth potential.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR:
You’re a creative who:

Understands the psychology of language—how certain words feel, persuade, and convert
+ Can take a Loom video or voice recording and translate it into intentional website outlines, messaging frameworks, or creative briefs
+ Doesn’t just use AI tools like ChatGPT blindly—you edit, elevate, and personalize based on the brand’s tone and goals
+ Can dive into a business, research competitors, explore the industry, and figure out what will actually stand out
+ Has a natural instinct for clean, elevated, emotionally intelligent design
+ Is comfortable leading layout direction for websites, brochures, and brand guides
+ Loves to create original work that feels purposeful, strategic, and beautiful

HARD SKILLS REQUIRED:
+ Photoshop
+ Illustrator
+ Figma (must understand how to design a website structure)
+ Strong grasp of layout, typography, hierarchy, and UX flow

BONUS: InDesign, After Effects, Capcut, Wordpress, Shopify, or Social Media experience

If you only use Canva and aren't comfortable creating original assets and layouts from scratch—this isn’t the role for you.

BRAND & LANGUAGE SKILLS NEEDED:
+ You write and design with intention
+ You understand how words, visuals, and layout work together to influence behavior
+ You can interpret a voice, tone, and story—and shape it into conversion-focused messaging
+ You’re willing to research, experiment, and go deeper than the surface
+ You respect branding as both an art and a sales tool

DAILY TASKS MIGHT INCLUDE:
+ Turning a Loom voice note into a rough brand strategy or web outline
+ Designing a visual identity or logo based on strategic goals and audience
+ Laying out a new homepage or sales page in Figma
+ Reviewing a designer’s work and offering creative direction
+ Supporting our founder (Ariel) by keeping creative projects moving and elevating the end result
+ Researching similar businesses to help define messaging and positioning
+ Helping craft brand messaging and visuals that feel sharp, elevated, and emotionally aligned
