Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage our day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role will involve handling QuickBooks, managing bank reconciliations, generating financial reports, and occasionally assisting with invoice creation.
Key Responsibilities
QuickBooks Management:
Record and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
Maintain and update financial records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Troubleshoot and resolve any QuickBooks discrepancies.
Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in accounts.
Financial Reporting:
Generate and present regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Accounts Receivable Support:
Assist with creating and managing customer invoices as needed.
Track outstanding invoices and ensure timely follow-up for payment.
General Bookkeeping Duties:
Ensure compliance with all company financial policies and procedures.
Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents.
Work closely with other tea
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with tea
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other financial tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
