Job Description: Bookkeeper/Accountant for Azura Jewelry and Azura Magic
Position Overview:
Azura Jewelry and Azura Magic are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage our financial records. This remote position offers flexibility, allowing you to work on your own schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to manage financial data with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Profit and Loss Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly profit and loss statements for both Azura Jewelry and Azura Magic.
2. Bookkeeping: Maintain detailed and accurate financial records, including tracking expenses, revenues, and other financial transactions.
3. Bank and Platform Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, including transactions on e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Etsy, Faire, and PayPal.
4. Financial Analysis: Provide insights and analysis based on financial data to support informed business decisions.
Experience:
1. Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping/accounting, with a preference for experience in an e-commerce environment.
2. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and familiarity with Shopify, Etsy, Faire, and PayPal reconciliation.
3. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.
4. Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
5. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise financial reporting.
6. E-commerce Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of e-commerce business operations, including online sales platforms, inventory management, and payment processing.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
3.Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing business environment.
Working Conditions:
This is a remote position with flexible hours. How many hours you work is up to you and you work on your own timeline. I just need the work done with precision and meet the required timeline. We prioritize the accuracy and quality of the work delivered over the number of hours worked. The work should be completed independently, with a high degree of precision.
