Job Type: Part-time (10-15 Hours/Week)
About Us:

Velvet Edge Entertainment is a premier event entertainment company that specializes in immersive, high-end productions, including producing and managing our own flagship events . We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records using Odoo Accounting.

Responsibilities:

1. Record and classify financial transactions accurately.
2. Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
3. Record and manage payroll transactions.
4. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
5. Prepare and generate financial statements.
6. Assist with initial account setup, book catch-up, and book clean-up as needed.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Odoo Accounting (minimum 1 year of experience preferred).
2. Working knowledge of Canadian (Ontario) bookkeeping standards and financial regulations.
3. Experience with bank reconciliations, payroll processing, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
4. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in Odoo Accounting bookkeeping.
2. Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat) and cloud-based financial tools.
3. Ability to advise on bookkeeping best practices.
