Bookkeeper:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain financial records
• Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
2. Process accounts payable and receivable
• Verify and process vendor invoices
• Prepare and send invoices to clients
• Track and follow up on overdue payments
3. Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all bank and credit card accounts
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies
• Ensure all transactions are accounted for and accurately recorded
4. Prepare and file tax documents
• Gather necessary information for various tax filings (e.g., sales tax, payroll tax)
• Assist with year-end tax preparation and liaison with external tax professionals if needed
5. Generate financial reports
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial reports
6. Collaborate with other departments
• Work closely with HR on payroll-related matters
• Assist management with financial decision-making by providing accurate data
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits
