Bookkeeper

We're looking for an energetic and organized bookkeeper to join our company. RESPONSIBILITIES - Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper serving international clientele - Familiarity with Singapore Taxation is advantageous - Exceptional English communication abilities, both written and verbal - Thorough comprehension of financial and accounting terminologies and methodologies - Proficient in Xero - Technologically adept, comfortable with contemporary tools including desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP - Competent in utilizing word-processing software and spreadsheets, such as MS Office - Familiarity with online calendars and scheduling platforms, such as Google Calendar - Demonstrates a proactive approach towards tasks and responsibilities DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information - Reconcile company's financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements - Prepare tax returns for businesses and individuals - Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements - Study financial trends to determine future business needs - Send quotes and invoices to clients, monitor for payment and PO issuance - Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner - Prepare balance sheets, financial statements, and payroll documentation. - Uphold strict confidentiality regarding company books and records. - Undertake miscellaneous tasks as necessary.
