Book Layout Designer

We’re a fast-growing company using AI to create high-quality educational content. We’re seeking a Book Layout Designer to format and design the interior of our print and digital books. If you’re detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about clean, effective design — we’d love to work with you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and design book interiors for print and digital (PDF, EPUB, etc.)
- Maintain consistent typography, spacing, and layout
- Create simple graphics (tables, icons, callouts) as needed
- Apply styles that enhance readability and match book tone
- Deliver print-ready files (Amazon KDP experience a plus)

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in book layout (portfolio required)
- Proficient in InDesign or similar software
- Familiar with formatting for print and Kindle
- Able to handle content-heavy formats like guides or workbooks
- Detail-oriented and organized

Preferred:
- Strong illustration/graphic design skills
- Experience with educational or language learning materials
- Knowledge of accessibility design and digital formatting standards
