JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary: The National Account Billing Specialist is responsible for processing monthly business partner (subcontractor) statements and payments, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for National Account customers, and providing exceptional customer support to various internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Track business partner invoicing on a daily basis.
Reconcile and submit business partner statements on a monthly basis.
Process and submit monthly business partner payments.
Reconcile and process service requests for unposted National Accounts billing.
Post all National Accounts billing twice per month.
Prepare and transmit necessary invoicing files (paper, PDF, Excel, or imports) to customers.
Work closely with Master, Territory, and regional offices, as well as Business Partners, Account Managers, and the Global Support Center to address billing and payment inquiries.
Prepare and transmit weekly National Accounts payments and statements to Master/Territory offices.
Communicate with Business Partners to ensure timely invoice receipt for accurate entry on statements and payments processing.
Prepare, post, and mail checks and statements for monthly National Accounts payments to Business Partners.
Reconcile Master office AR reports to National Accounts statements on a monthly basis.
Complete assigned projects and assist other departments as needed.


Education and Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma required; 4-year college degree in finance or business-related field preferred.
Minimum two years of billing with AR reconciliation or bookkeeping experience.
Experience with or high aptitude to learn customer-specific systems (i.e., Ariba, Coupa, ServiceChannel, etc.).
Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 360, specifically in utilizing its F&O (Financial/Operations) component.
Customer service support background is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and V-lookups.
High level of initiative and ability to prioritize workload.
Attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work under deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills with a disciplined approach and strong follow-up ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers.
