We seek a Bilingual Phone Representative with a medical background to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be courteous, empathetic, and patient, with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. This role involves interacting with patients and addressing their inquiries related to cardiac device software and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, investigate, and resolve users' problems with cardiac device software and hardware.
- Field support calls, chat,
connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
- Consult with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
- Apply knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
- Guide users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include the use of diagnostic tools and software
and/or following verbal instructions.
- “Collaborate with other staff and programmers to research, resolve problems, explain errors, and recommend modifications
in programs
- Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
- Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Access to a quiet workspace, personal computer with two monitors, high-speed internet, and a hands-free headset for receiving calls.
- Previous at-home work experience (required).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Medical background or experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong, clear English communication abilities.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with great problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
- Ability to self-regulate and prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Comfortable speaking directly to patients, managers, and other tea
- Compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations is mandatory.
