Bilingual (English/Mandarin) Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Fully remote opportunity to join an esteemed family law firm in California that is dedicated to helping families grow through procedures such as surrogacy and egg donation. Knowledge of English and Mandarin required.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal with Family Law expertise to join our dynamic team. If you are bilingual in English and Mandarin and have a passion for family law, this is an exciting opportunity to work remotely and make an impact. In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with attorneys to support clients through family law matters such as divorce, custody, and support issues.

What You’ll Do:
1. Draft & Prepare Legal Documents: Assist in drafting and preparing filings, surrogacy and egg donation agreement, child custody agreements, support petitions, and more.
2. Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
3. Document Translation: Translate legal documents and correspondence between English and Mandarin.
4. Research & Organization: Conduct legal research on family law matters and ensure all case files are properly organized.
5. Support Legal Teams: Help attorneys prepare for hearings, trials, and meetings, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in order.
6. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:
1. 2-5 years of family law experience as a Paralegal. Bilingual in English & Mandarin
2. Knowledge of California family law and court procedures.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
