We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back-End Operations and Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. This individual will oversee the daily dispatch operations and ensure smooth coordination of back-end activities to maintain high service standards. The ideal candidate is proficient in managing logistics, adept with technology, and has a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Coordination:
Assign and schedule drivers to customer requests efficiently.
Monitor and adjust driver schedules based on real-time updates.
Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers.
Address and resolve dispatch-related issues promptly.
Back-End Operations:
Maintain records of trips, driver performance, and vehicle usage.
Assist in the onboarding process for new drivers, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Monitor app-based operations for accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
Coordinate with the tech team to resolve software or app issues.
Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for customers to address inquiries or complaints related to dispatch services.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with both drivers and customers.
Administrative Tasks:
Generate and review reports on key metrics such as trip counts, efficiency, and revenue.
Update and manage the scheduling system and back-end databases.
Collaborate with the management team to identify operational improvements.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, including driver and customer data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or back-end operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with dispatch software and apps.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resolving issues efficiently.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ride-sharing or transportation network companies (TNCs).
Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and map applications.
Knowledge of local geography or dispatch territories.
