Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
Monitor financial transactions and reports.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Manage and control client payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Process checks.
Maintain and understand ledgers.
Handle bi-weekly payroll using accounting software.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience in the U.S. (Resumes without 5 years bookkeeping experience will not be considered.) We do not hire personal assistants; we hire independent senior accountants.
Experience with construction pay applications (AIA, Procore, etc.).
Associate’s degree in Accounting.
Strong knowledge of general U.S. accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Proficiency in commonly used U.S. bookkeeping software.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
At least 5 years of experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Resumes without 5 years experience in QuickBooks will not be considered.)
Ability to prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
Important Notice:
We are specifically looking for senior bookkeepers with at least 5 years of experience in the U.S. market. This is not an assistant role. Candidates must have direct experience with construction accounting in the U.S.
