As a growing organization, we are seeking a talented Bid and Grant Writer to join our team and support the founder in securing funding that will enable us to expand our impact.

Role Overview
The Bid and Grant Writer will play a critical role in identifying funding opportunities, writing compelling applications, and ensuring the sustainability of SheBeasts CIC’s programs. This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with the founder to articulate the organization’s vision and translate it into successful bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities
Funding Research: Identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities from government grants, charitable foundations, corporate sponsorships, and other sources.

Proposal Development: Draft, edit, and submit high-quality funding applications tailored to specific grant requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with the founder and team to gather necessary information, case studies, and program data for applications.

Project Management: Track application deadlines, ensure timely submissions, and maintain a calendar of funding opportunities.
Reporting: Provide funders with detailed and impactful reports on project outcomes, demonstrating accountability and effectiveness.

Database Management: Maintain records of applications, funding secured, and feedback received to refine future proposals.
Key Skills and Attributes

Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in writing winning bids and grant applications for charities, social enterprises, or community-focused organizations.

Excellent Communication: Ability to articulate SheBeasts CIC’s mission and projects persuasively in writing.

Research Proficiency: Strong skills in identifying and analyzing potential funding sources.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in application preparation.

Adaptability: Capacity to manage multiple applications with varying requirements under tight deadlines.


Passion for the Mission: A genuine interest in empowering women and contributing to community well-being.
Qualifications and Experience

Prior experience in bid and grant writing, with a proven track record of securing funding.
Familiarity with the UK charity and community funding landscape.
Knowledge of fitness and mental health sectors (desirable but not essential).
