Audio Editor for Voiceover Files $50 per month (Simple/Flexible Job) EXTRA PAY

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Audio Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in cleaning up audio by removing unwanted noises, breaths, and correcting mistakes. This role requires an individual with a keen ear for detail and proficiency in using professional audio editing software to ensure clear, polished recordings for various media productions.

Key Responsibilities:
Audio Cleanup: Edit and remove unwanted breaths, lip smacks, background noise, and other distractions from audio files, ensuring a smooth listening experience.
Mistake Correction: Detect and edit out mistakes, mispronunciations, or pauses in speech, working closely with producers and voice talent to achieve the desired final product.
Sound Enhancement: Enhance overall audio quality through equalization, noise reduction, and volume leveling, providing a professional sound.
Audio Editing: Edit podcasts, interviews, voiceovers, and other recorded materials to meet production standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, producers, and sound engineers to understand project goals and provide high-quality audio edits in a timely manner.
Quality Assurance: Review edited audio to ensure consistency and adherence to project specifications, including file format, length, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an audio editor, sound engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on audio cleanup.
Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, etc.).
Excellent understanding of audio processing tools such as noise reduction, compression, EQ, and reverb.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a good ear for identifying subtle sounds and mistakes.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team of creatives.
Familiarity with podcast or voiceover production workflows is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced noise reduction techniques.
Familiarity with working in different audio formats (WAV, MP3, etc.) and converting files as needed.
Knowledge of audio syncing for video projects.
Understanding of the nuances of speech and vocal delivery in different genres (e.g., interviews, narrations, commercials).

Scope of Work:
Your job will include receiving a raw audio file. You will take the mp3 file and remove all of the narrator's mistakes, double words, breaths, and smacks. You can put a noise reduction effect on the file to improve the audio as well. Each raw audio file will be 15 minutes to 35 minutes. You will edit all the audio down to 7 minutes to 15 minutes. You will receive a deadline to return the mp3 file. For experienced editors, you should be able to complete all files within 60 to 90 minutes.

Pay:
MONDAY-FRIDAY - 1 AUDIO FILE PER DAY $50 PER MONTH

Pay Schedule:
We pay workers twice per month. If your salary is $50 per month, you will receive $25 on one pay period and $25 on the other pay period. For all work completed 1st of the month thru the 15th, invoices will be due on the 16th and processed. For all work completed on the 16th thru the end of the month. The invoice will be due and processed on the 1st.

Progression of increase of pay:
To start, test your skills, and reliability, you will begin this position with the 1 audio file per day/ $50 per month. After careful examination and proving you're a good fit for more work, we will increase your contract to 2 audio files per day at $100 per month.
