Assistant /Media Manager

Looking for a HIGHLY resourceful, organized, self-motivated right-hand person to help run a growing holistic veterinary practice!
We are seeking a detail-oriented, problem-solving Administrative Assistant who can work independently and take ownership of tasks. This will start as a part-time position (15 hours per week) with the expectation of 40 hours/week within 4 months.

There will be a guaranteed 25% salary increase after the first 4 months for the person who is the right fit in this position as well as opportunities for bonuses. Ideally, this person is able to handle everything from personal admin and business admin to project management and hires, the salary will be commensurate with the range and expertise of your skillset. You will be working side by side with the founder to build the company up.

Responsibilities: social media management (creating posts and responding to customers), scheduling, project management, making phone calls, data entry, copy editing, managing multiple platforms (instagram, tiktok, facebook, nextdoor, rover, and more). (Optional - at the higher level of this position - project management tasks such as breaking down larger projects, hiring contractors and full time staff, task delegation and organization, grant writing).

Skills Required: Great at design and creating social media content, Fluent in English, personable, great listener, great with email and phone, good at handling conflict, highly detail-oriented, comfortable with technology. Competency with Notion is a big plus.

6) Scenario: a woman calls screaming, “My dog is vomiting blood and maybe got into something! What do I do? Is your doctor there? I just need to talk to them!”

Context: I am unavailable to be reached. This person needs to get veterinary help for their pet.

How would you go about handling this situation?

7) Create a social media post for animal lovers (one or multiple images + engaging caption text). Use public domain or copyright-free images but still list your sources. Emphasize caring for animals and the emotional connection between humans and animals - the goal of this post would be to make an animal owner smile.
