U.S. based commercial insurance agency is seeking an assistant account manager trainee for a permanent, full time position with our firm. Work from the comfort of your home and say goodbye to the awful daily commute to work. Graveyard hours: 11pm - 8am Manila time.
We are looking for that special individual who thrives on being challenged, is team oriented and has a high level of intellectual curiosity. The candidate must be highly organized, motivated, resourceful and a quick learner. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement and significant income growth. On the job training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Four year college degree.
- Accounting, Bookkeeping and/or Commercial Insurance experience a plus, but not required.
- Super-savvy internet user.
- Outstanding verbal (American English) and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather information for insurance applications.
- Manage the renewal process for expiring policies.
- Market applications to various carrier to obtain quotes.
- Review policies and identify coverage deficiencies.
- Compose correspondence to insureds and underwriters.
- Issue certificates of liability.
Equipment Required
- Laptop or Desktop (owned)
- High speed internet access (fiber preferred)
- Good working USB headset, with noise cancellation
- Calm, quiet work-at-home environment
