We’re looking for a creative and experienced Art Director to join our team and lead the charge in crafting impactful, on-brand designs that inspire action and drive engagement.

Role Overview
As an Art Director, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing compelling visual content across multiple platforms. You will take complex ideas and transform them into high-quality, engaging designs that align with the company’s mission and brand standards. This role emphasizes hands-on design work, requiring expertise in creating marketing assets, digital content, and branding materials. While you will provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, your primary focus will be on concepting and executing design work yourself.

Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership and Direction
Conceptualize and execute high-quality designs across digital, print, and branding initiatives.
Create visually compelling assets for marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, website visuals, email templates, and sales materials.
Develop key design elements that enhance brand identity and storytelling.
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to produce campaign assets that are visually engaging and drive performance.
Hands-On Campaign Development
Work directly on the design and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all assets are cohesive and on-brand.
Translate complex ideas into effective visual storytelling that resonates with audiences.
Iterate on design concepts based on feedback and performance metrics.
Ensure all creative work meets marketing strategy goals and contributes to engagement and conversion improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with the Creative Director, marketing, and partnerships teams to align on creative goals and campaign strategies.
Collaborate with developers, copywriters, and other creative teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to produce cohesive and high-impact campaigns.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop fresh, innovative creative approaches.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
7+ years of experience in a design role, with at least 3 years in an art director or senior designer position, ideally in an agency or in-house creative team.
Proven ability to take design projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on execution.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, web design, and mobile responsiveness.
Exceptional design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for sustainability and alignment with 4ocean’s mission.

Preferred Skills
Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing tools.
Expertise in website design, including landing pages and e-commerce sites.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design.
Experience in retail or e-commerce marketing campaigns.
Success Metrics
Creative Quality: Designs are visually compelling, innovative, and aligned with 4ocean’s brand identity and sustainability mission.
Campaign Performance: Measurable improvements in engagement, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
Execution: High volume of hands-on design work produced at a high standard.
Collaboration: Effective partnerships with cross-functional teams, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and meet business goals.
