Architecural Draftsperson (2D & 3D)

Cooper & Blake Architecture is a small, emerging architectural practice based in Victoria, Australia. We specialise in designing high-end residential homes that embrace a strong sense of belonging. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a project-by-project basis with the potential to transition into a part-time, ongoing role.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson with 5-10 years of experience, proficient in ArchiCAD, to assist in the documentation of residential design projects from concept through to construction. The role will primarily involve preparing detailed 2D documentation packages, with occasional 3D visualisation and rendering work to complement client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop comprehensive documentation packages in ArchiCAD for residential projects, following design concepts provided in AutoCAD or sketch format.
•Complete documentation for trade packages, including Local Council Permits, Energy Assessors, Structural Engineering, Interior Design packages, and Building Surveyor requirements.
•Occasionally prepare 3D visualisations and renderings to enhance presentations for clients.
•Collaborate closely with the principal architect and other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to ensure accuracy and consistency in all documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

•5-10 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsperson with a strong portfolio of residential projects.
•Expertise in ArchiCAD and construction detailing knowledge.
•Experience in creating 3D visualisations and renderings for client presentations.
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely across time zones.
