In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with their day-to-day Office Engineering Admin tasks so they can focus more on higher-impact business activities.
As an Architect / Office Engineer, you will be expected to:
Helping our clients run their business more profitably by preparing BOQ, BOM, and pricing jobs.
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Doing any Office/Admin tasks delegated by the client.
Using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans for various projects.
Reviewing and modifying CAD drawings for accuracy and consistency.
Assisting in the design and layout of construction plans using CAD software.
Coordinating with project managers and engineers to ensure that CAD designs meet project specifications and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications:
CAN DO ATTITUDE
Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Sound knowledge of construction.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
Great networking abilities.
Proficiency in CAD software (2D and 3D) such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
