JOB OVERVIEW

As an Architect Drafter at Pak Homes Builder Inc, you will play a crucial role in developing Floor Plans for our diverse range of projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience working with tools such as Revit and SketchUp. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about contributing to the safety and success of architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with project managers and architects to create Site Safety Plans using AutoCAD.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the drafting process.
-Utilize tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Navisworks to enhance project visualization and coordination.
-Participate in design reviews and provide input on safety-related aspects of the plans.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as an Architect Drafter with a focus on residential Floor Plans.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; experience with Revit Software is highly recommended and SketchUp is desirable.
-Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in architectural drafting.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings/shop drawings.
-Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• We're looking for A Drafting Architect. You will perform the planning and designing phases of architectural work. You will also work in writing reports and preparing documents for legal purposes. Your role will involve new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservation.

Simply put, your goal is to meet the client’s needs by producing sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Requirements:
• Must have at least a minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture/Drafting
• Familiar with any Design software for Architects such as Autocad, Revit, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, etc.
• Must have Town Planning Experience
• Must be able to cope up working from home
• Must have excellent English communication skills
• Must have a portfolio of previous designs
• Preferably familiar with Canadian standards in Architecture – specifically Province of Ontario Building Code is highly preferred since majority work is Ontario based.



Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and neatly presented, with proper annotation scaling, alignment, and consistent formatting.
Accurately complete and maintain title blocks and coversheets with all relevant project and client information.
Use appropriate layers, line types, scales, and drafting standards for all architectural drawings, ensuring consistency and quality.
Review and verify all architectural drawings and details, including those copied or referenced from other projects, to ensure they meet company and project-specific standards.
Collaborate with architects and designers to resolve design issues and incorporate revisions into drawings promptly.
