Animator/Illustrator for Holiday eCards

We are looking for an experienced and creative 2D Animator/Illustrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating storyboards, illustrating, and animating high-quality eCards for the holidays and other occasions. The ideal candidate will need to have strong illustration and animation skills and the ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with team members.

In this position, the candidate must be able to take a concept from idea to finished product while also being comfortable executing ideas provided by others. Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging storyboards for holiday-themed eCards to visualize the animation flow.
- Illustrate characters, backgrounds, and other elements from scratch.
- Animate designs using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Hype, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop original ideas or bring other team members' concepts to life.
- Follow project briefs and instructions, making revisions based on feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
- Maintain attention to detail, ensuring smooth, polished, and high-quality animations.

Other Experience/Skills (a plus)

- Video content creation for websites and social media


Qualifications

- Storyboarding: Ability to create clear and effective storyboards for visual narratives.
- Illustration: Strong drawing and illustration skills for characters, backgrounds, and visual elements.
- Animation: Proficiency in animating characters and objects using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Hype, or similar software.
- Creativity: Ability to generate original ideas, designs, and concepts aligned with holiday themes.
- Collaboration: Experience working in teams, taking feedback, and incorporating others' ideas.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Hype, or similar animation tools.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to meet short deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in design and animation to ensure high-quality work.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to understand briefs and articulate ideas.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and creatively solve animation challenges.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to different animation styles and project needs.
- Follow Directions: Ability to follow instructions accurately and execute projects as specified.

Software We Use
- Google Workspace (Gmail, docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
- Monday & Asana (project management)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro) and Hype

Training
As needed via video tutorials, Google Docs, and Zoom.

Working Days/Hours (Philippine Time)
- 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Paid Time Off
- Ten (10) “Regular” Philippine holidays are paid.
- Service Incentive Leave (SIL) - Five (5) days per year after completion of 1-year service

13th Month Bonus
You will receive a 13th-month bonus that is prorated based on the number of full months worked from December through November each year. For example, if you start work on November 1st, you would receive 1/12th of your annual salary for the 13th-month bonus.

Pay Days
You will be paid weekly through PayPal for the first few months and then twice a month afterward.
