What the Role Is: In this role, you will be solving complex financial and operational problems for clients of varying sizes and industries. You will help design, build, and refine financial systems and models that integrate both financial and operational data to improve decision-making and reduce risks.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Developing and optimizing complex financial systems that leverage both financial and operational data, often integrating various databases and external data sources.
* Analyzing and processing large datasets to verify consistency, accuracy, and integrity of systems, ensuring they meet operational and financial requirements.
* Designing financial models (standard and customized) that support both accounting processes and business operations, ensuring they comply with GAAP and industry standards.
* Collaborating with client management, engineering, data, and bookkeeping teams to design, build, and maintain scalable financial models and databases.
* Reviewing, troubleshooting, and correcting inconsistencies in accounting records and data flows, identifying both short-term fixes and long-term systemic solutions.
* Collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, both technical and operational, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
* Communicating complex financial and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.


What You'll Bring:
* 2-3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or Systems Analyst role, with a focus on integrating financial data with technical systems.
* Hands-on experience with advanced spreadsheet techniques, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
* Experience in building and optimizing financial models, from simple spreadsheets to more complex, bespoke solutions tailored to specific client needs.
* Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of accounting systems, financial reporting, and GAAP principles.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies, combining technical and accounting expertise to address challenges.
* Excellent communication skills for both internal team collaboration and client-facing interactions.
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with an understanding of financial modeling.
