JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Amazon Return Specialist / E-Commerce Assistant to manage and optimize our returns process across Amazon marketplaces. This role involves reviewing customer returns, identifying fraudulent claims, creating Amazon cases for reimbursement, and relisting used products for resale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in eCommerce or Amazon operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Returns Analysis and Dispute Management
- Review and analyze customer returns to identify patterns and potential fraud across all Amazon marketplaces
- Create and open Amazon cases to dispute fraudulent returns or items with missing parts
- Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation for reimbursement claims
- Track success rates of disputes, amount of reimbursement and optimize approach based on outcomes
2. Product Relisting and Inventory Management
- Assess returned items for resale potential and condition
- List used items on Amazon with appropriate pricing
- Monitor performance of relisted items and adjust strategies to maximize sales
- Maintain accurate records of inventory available for resale
3. Warehouse Coordination
1. Collaborate with warehouse staff regarding shipping of relisted items once sold
2. Ensure timely fulfillment of orders from relisted inventory
3. Communicate shipping priorities to ensure customer satisfaction
4. Data Reporting and Insights
1. Generate reports on returns, disputes, reimbursements, and relisted product sales
2. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to reduce return rates
3. Track and analyze return patterns to identify potential product improvements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, E-commerce, Supply Chain, or related field preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, Amazon operations, or retail returns management
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Experience with Amazon Seller Central highly desirable
Knowledge of Amazon's return policies and reimbursement procedures is a plus
Prior experience in disputing claims or handling customer service issues preferred
