Job Summary:
The Amazon FBA Retail Arbitrage Virtual Assistant is responsible for identifying profitable product opportunities to add to the company’s Amazon FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) portfolio through retail arbitrage strategies. This role involves analyzing market trends, evaluating competition, and leveraging data to uncover high-demand, low-competition products from well-known retail websites like Target, Walmart, and others. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, familiarity with Amazon market research tools, and an understanding of what makes a product profitable and appealing to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Research & Analysis:
Conduct retail arbitrage research on popular retail websites such as Target, Walmart, and others to identify profitable opportunities.
Evaluate products for profitability by analyzing demand, competition, and pricing trends.
Tool Utilization for Analysis:
Use at least one of the following tools—Keepa, Selleramp, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout—to gather insights and track product performance.
Analyze historical trends, pricing changes, and competition to ensure accurate and strategic product decisions.
Data Interpretation & Market Evaluation:
Leverage market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior patterns to prioritize product opportunities.
Analyze data points to ensure alignment with profitability goals and company strategy.
Supplier & Product Sourcing Insight:
Assist with sourcing strategies based on identified opportunities, understanding what factors make a product viable for retail arbitrage.
Reporting & Communication:
Present findings and successful product opportunities to management on a regular basis.
Maintain clear communication and provide regular updates on research progress.
Research Preparation:
Prepare for strategic calls by bringing examples of prior successful product research to discuss and demonstrate experience.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience with retail arbitrage or Amazon FBA product research is recommended.
Proven experience in identifying profitable products through retail arbitrage strategies or other e-commerce research methods.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Amazon research tools (e.g., Keepa, Helium 10, Selleramp, Jungle Scout) is required, with proficiency in at least one of these tools.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to analyze trends, market data, and competitive insights to identify opportunities.
Knowledge of Retail Arbitrage:
Demonstrated understanding of how to source profitable items from retail websites like Walmart, Target, or others.
Understanding of factors that determine a product’s market appeal and profitability.
Communication Skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with the team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Amazon FBA operations or e-commerce marketplaces.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis tools.
Expectations:
Candidates should arrive at the interview call with examples of their previous successful product research or retail arbitrage projects to demonstrate experience.
