About the Role
We are a rapidly growing Amazon-focused marketing agency seeking an Amazon Agency Team Leader to manage and optimize client accounts while guiding a small, remote team. This role will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing agency profitability. You will spend approximately 50% of your time in leadership and team management, and the remaining 50% on high-priority client tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
1. Task Delegation & Quality Control
- Assign daily tasks to tea
- Conduct quality checks on deliverables (e.g., listing optimizations, ad campaigns, reports).
2. Team Development & Recruitment
- Identify staffing needs, participate in the recruitment process, and train new hires.
- Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and support to foster continuous improvement and a positive team culture.
3. Deadline & Performance Management
- Set realistic deadlines and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Track team performance metrics, address bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
4. Weekly Meetings & Communication
- Lead weekly 1:1 calls with each tea
- Coordinate with the agency owner in weekly strategy meetings to align on priorities and client objectives.
Client Account Management
1. Amazon Advertising
- Plan, create, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display).
- Perform keyword research, bid adjustments, and budget management to maximize ROI.
2. Listing Optimization
- Develop and enhance product listings using high-converting keywords and compelling copy.
- Collaborate with design resources to improve product images and A+ Content.
3. Promotion & Inventory Management
- Plan and monitor promotions, deals, and discounts to drive sales.
- Oversee inventory levels, forecasting, and ensure stock availability to prevent outages.
4. Account Health & Case Management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer feedback, returns, and policy compliance.
- Manage and resolve support tickets, handle suspensions, and maintain a healthy seller account status.
5. Client Satisfaction & Profit Maximization
- Ensure ongoing client satisfaction through regular updates and timely execution of deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to increase agency revenue through cross-selling or up-selling additional services.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts and Amazon advertising campaigns.
- 1-2 years of team management or supervisory experience at an Amazon agency or similar environment.
- Proven track record of executing and optimizing PPC campaigns, listing optimizations, and overall Amazon account strategy.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and foster a positive team culture.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using Amazon Seller Central, advertising dashboards, and third-party Amazon tools.
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Must be based in the Philippines and able to work flexible hours aligned with the U.S. calendar week.
- Availability for weekly team and leadership calls is essential.
