Proven experience as a data analyst in an agency environment, successfully managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Expertise in working with a variety of software platforms, including marketing, business intelligence (BI), and affiliate/influencer marketing tools, with the ability to interpret and analyze data across these systems.
Advanced/Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF), and data manipulation techniques.
Strong understanding of performance marketing data, including key metrics like clicks, conversions, revenue, and commissions.
Ability to analyze marketing data, identify trends, and make data-driven predictions to support strategic decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
Manage affiliate and influencer marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clients, with a focus on high-data, high-complexity clients seeking strategic support for their marketing programs.
Prepare weekly reports for clients, including detailed write-ups sent on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Prepare monthly client reports that summarize campaign performance and key metrics.

Data Sources:
Affiliate Platforms: Data is aggregated from affiliate software such as Awin, ShareASale, Partnerize.
Influencer Software: Platforms like CreatorIQ, Tagger.
Client Internal Tracking: Data may come from tools like Adobe Analytics, GA4, Looker.
Reporting Software: Afluent for reporting, and PowerBI for custom reporting.
The GA will focus on consolidating and understanding baseline data from all these sources and blending them into a unified analysis.
Reporting & Analysis:
Excel-Heavy Role: The GA will be responsible for aggregating data, using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, conditional formatting, etc.) to summarize and analyze large datasets.
The GA will not build dashboards but will pull insights from existing reports, combining data from multiple sources to highlight key trends and insights for client analysts.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: For example, when a client requests a performance analysis of a specific campaign or partner, the GA will review the data, understand performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates), and provide a detailed write-up on campaign outcomes. The GA will outline trends and offer insights based on the data—not recommendations for changes or adjustments.
The GA may also support the creation of basic performance forecasts for upcoming quarters, helping to analyze past campaign performance and supporting predictions around budget and spend. However, this would be done in collaboration with an analyst, not independently.
Data Management and Reporting:
The GA will manage both routine reporting tasks (weekly, monthly reports) and ad-hoc requests (e.g., campaign performance analysis, and forecasts).
As the role evolves, the GA will take on more responsibility in terms of regular reporting cadence while handling additional project-based tasks.
