JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
The Accounts Administrator is a newly created role designed to support the client’s financial operations and property management team. You will play a pivotal role in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and trust accounting responsibilities. This includes receipting, vendor payments, processing charges, and addressing resident account queries. If you have a meticulous eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and are highly motivated, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our operations!


Key Responsibilities
- Raise periodic rent roll charges, ad-hoc tenant move-in charges, and process monthly direct debits.
- Perform timely receipting and prepare detailed arrears reports.
- Collaborate with the property management and leasing teams to address and resolve resident account queries.
- Set up new vendors and conduct timely vendor payment runs, including uploading invoices and processing payments.
- Ensure data for charges and receipting is entered with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with trust accounting duties and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to process improvements and suggest operational enhancements.
- Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by management.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.

About You
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts administration or a similar role, preferably within a real estate business.
- Trust Accounting Skills: Familiarity with trust accounting is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Strong accounting technical skills with a high level of proficiency in financial tools and systems.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Problem-Solver: Solutions-oriented with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to raise concerns and address issues proactively.
- Motivated: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellence in accounts management.
