JOB OVERVIEW

We are a poultry transportation company seeking a skilled full time Philippine CPA to join us as an Accounting Administrator/General Accountant. This is a remote role responsible for supporting our daily accounting operations. Your primary responsibilities will include the below mentioned along with being a key employee that can find cost savings opportunities when posting invoices. Access to our network will be provided through a virtual remote desktop on your computer.
Key Responsibilities:
-All Accounts Payable duties
-Take lead & own the payment process from initiation to completion
-Code and post invoices
-Set up month end accruals/prepayment schedules
-Reconcile vendor statements & follow up on discrepancies
-Conduct month-end vendor expense analysis
-Perform price volume mix & expense analysis
-Communicate with vendors and customers via email & phone calls
-Provide accounting/analysis support as needed
Qualifications:
-Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines (proof required)
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and Gmail (this will be tested)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (this will be tested)
-Must be proficient in professional email communication with customers and vendors (this will be tested)
-Must own a Windows computer for work purposes
-Must have a dual-monitor setup (computer + additional screen) at a minimum
-Must have a home internet connection of at least 100 Mbps (Will be tested & please test ahead of time yourself)
-Must have experience managing and executing payment runs
-Willingness to go beyond what is expected and show you are adding value to the team daily.

Work Schedule:
We are based in Ontario, Canada (EST). This is a permanent full-time, 5 day a week position requiring you to work our standard business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM EST. This includes an unpaid 30 minute lunch & 2x15 min breaks. Holidays will follow the Ontario schedule, with accommodations for Philippine holidays. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on workload.
