The accountant/bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded. They play a key role in supporting the financial health of the organization by providing accurate and timely financial information.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Record financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers.
2. Prepare and maintain financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
4. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
5. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll taxes and regulations.
6. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
7. Prepare and submit tax returns and financial reports to regulatory authorities.
8. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
9. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
10. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.

**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred).
2. Proven work experience as an accountant/bookkeeper or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) is a plus.
10. Familiarity with relevant tax laws and regulations.
**Working Conditions:**
