Key Responsibilities:
1. Record and maintain financial transactions using accounting software.
2. Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements.
3. Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
4. Create and send invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
5. Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments efficiently.
6. Organize and digitize financial records for streamlined access.
7. Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (virtual experience preferred).
2. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
4. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and project management software is a plus.
