Accountant - QuickBooks & Excel Expert

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with extensive experience in QuickBooks and Excel to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts using Excel.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on QuickBooks and Excel.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, including advanced functions and reporting.
Expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
Experience in financing and funding firm
